Oriental Watch Company Opened The First Watch Gallery Concept Store at ELEMENTS

Since its establishment in 1961, Oriental Watch Company has consistently upheld its dedication and passion for watchmaking craftsmanship. 'Take Your Time' is not only a brand motto but also a reinterpretation of contemporary lifestyle, redefining an elegant and composed attitude in a fast-paced era. Oriental Watch Company is pleased to announce the first Watch Gallery concept store of Oriental Watch Company, "TAKE YOUR TIME ORIENTAL WATCH COMPANY" opened at the ELEMENTS, regularly introducing different themes—each season reinterprets the art of timepieces with new concepts, allowing you to encounter unique inspirations with every exploration.

From August 1 to September 30, Oriental Watch Company collaborate with local Hong Kong artist Joe Li to hold a two-month art exhibition at "TAKE YOUR TIME ORIENTAL WATCH COMPANY,"exhibiting three series "Dreams," "Childhood Dream," and "Fly High". Through these light, whimsical elements, the pieces convey the multifaceted nature of dreams—from personal longing to shared, expansive ambitions. 

Joe Li began his early career as a mold design technician, during which he gained in-depth experience with various machines and professional knowledge, including mold casting, tool grinding, and the use of materials such as metal and wood. The exquisite skills he honed in these fields laid a solid foundation for his artistic creations. 

The "Dreams" series features clouds and long ladders, the ladder stretching into the clouds with climbers represents an active quest for aspirations. Joe hopes to encourage viewers to bravely move forward in life, fearlessly face challenges, and pursue the ideals they long for.

The "Childhood Dream" series is centered around treehouses, inspired by Joe’s pure childhood wish to have a treehouse. This series evokes childhood fantasies of freedom and distant vistas, illustrating how dreams can be both simple and boundless.

The "Fly High" series uses balloons as a symbol representing individual or collective pursuit of ideals. This series extends the metaphor to individual or collective pursuit of ideals, embodying themes of flight and transcendence.
